After setting the record for the world's thinnest automatic watch in 2017 with the Octo Finissimo Automatic, Bulgari extended its ultra-thinness strategy to increasingly demanding complications: tourbillon, minute repeater, perpetual calendar, and, in 2019, chronograph. The Octo Finissimo Chronograph GMT, reference 103371, pairs that ultra-thin chronograph ambition with a second time-zone function (GMT), on a titanium case that cuts wrist weight compared with the steel executions.
The Caliber BVL 318 that drives it reaches a thickness of just 3.30mm thanks, once again, to a peripheral rotor — this time solid platinum, rather than a micro-rotor — which frees up the center of the movement to house the chronograph architecture and GMT module without pushing the case beyond 6.90mm total thickness.
Unlike the black-dial, steel-bracelet Octo Finissimo Automatic, this reference comes on an integrated rubber strap, a lighter, sportier solution in keeping with the GMT's travel-tool nature and the titanium case.
