Omega launched the Planet Ocean in 2005 as its modern professional diver, drawing on the 1957 Seamaster 300 while pushing water resistance to 600 meters, double that of the Diver 300M that popularized the line in the nineties.
In 2016, the collection moved to Master Chronometer certification: the entire range adopted calibres antimagnetic to 15,000 gauss, verified by METAS across eight independent tests.
